November 22 Torrevieja lights up 70 streets for the Patron Saint Festivities and Christmas 2025
From giant snowmen to glowing trees, a dazzling display of festive lights is set to transform Torrevieja’s streets and squares

Torrevieja will shine brighter than ever this holiday season. The extraordinary decorative lighting for the 2025 Patron Saint and Christmas festivities will illuminate 70 streets, squares, promenades and residential areas throughout the municipality.
The official switch-on will take place on Saturday November 22 with a grand public event to kick off the Christmas season.
The councillor responsible for the service, Concha Sala, has reported on the details of the project, carried out by the company Iluminaciones Granja SL, which includes more than 500 lights among arches and decorative elements.
One of the main new features will be a giant snowman that can be visited in the Plaza Miguel Hernández, accompanied by the two winning arches of the 1st School Drawing Competition for the design of the Christmas lights, located on Calle Clemente Gosálvez.
The most impressive feature will undoubtedly be the 22-metre-tall natural tree located at the entrance to the port area, next to Bar La Marina, which will be adorned with 20,000 warm-toned LED lights.
In addition, several 15- and 20-metre-tall trees will be installed at key locations such as Paseo Juan Aparicio, Plaza Encarnación Puchol (La Mata), Plaza de Oriente and the entrance to the Tavi y Carmona Sports Palace. Plaza de La Madera will also unveil a brand new 8-metre-tall tree.
Calles Concepción, Fotógrafos Darblade and Canónigo Torres will once again be the epicentre of Christmas magic with a spectacular ceiling of light made up of more than 14 kilometres of garlands, 100,000 bulbs and 150 moving stars.
The project incorporates lighting in the new hippie area (Avenida de la Estación – Vía Verde) and in the surroundings of Eras de la Sal and the Ice Factory, with more than 50 displays on Gregorio Marañón and Desiderio Rodríguez avenues.
The churches of the Immaculate Conception and Our Lady of the Rosary of La Mata will once again display festive decorations with more than 150,000 LED lights, while the procession of the Immaculate Conception will feature 56 exclusive arches.
Christmas lights will also be installed in La Siesta, Torreta Florida, Los Balcones and Aguas Nuevas, where 3,000 LED bulbs and "Merry Christmas" signs, in English and Spanish in the case of La Siesta, will be put up.
The total budget for the project is €387,467 plus IVA.
