The showroom itself has been designed with education and transparency at its heart. As a spokesperson for the company put it, "We want people to feel confident about switching to solar, and that starts with education, transparency, and the opportunity to see the technology up close."
Rather than simply displaying products, the space is set up to help visitors properly understand how modern solar panels, battery storage systems and self-consumption setups actually work in practice, and crucially, how they could affect their own energy bills.
Behind the showroom is a family business with serious credentials. Vic, Samantha, Daniel and Holly have been designing and installing bespoke solar systems across Spain since the turn of the century, working with everything from villas and townhouses to country homes and commercial premises. Every system is tailored to the individual client's property, energy needs and budget, and the team's reputation for being knowledgeable and approachable is very much part of what sets them apart.One of the more innovative aspects of what Ecocorp offers is their cloud-based virtual battery system. Customers who remain connected to the grid can feed any excess solar energy they generate back into a virtual battery, then draw it down when the sun isn't shining. The result is that homeowners can potentially use up to 100% of the energy their panels produce, rather than losing surplus generation.
Every installation also comes linked to a dedicated app, accessible via phone, tablet or computer, so clients can keep an eye on both their energy consumption and their savings in real time.
