ARCHIVED - These are the shops open this bank holiday weekend in the Region of Murcia
Most shopping centres, including Nueva Condomina in Murcia city and Espacio Mediterráneo in Cartagena, will be open all weekend
With the upcoming bank holiday weekend in Spain, which stretches from Friday December 3 to Wednesday December 8, many will be wondering whether this weekend will be the perfect chance to do some Christmas shopping, or whether they will find all their local supermarkets and shops closed for the holiday.
To avoid disappointment, here is handy guide with the bank holiday opening times of some of Murcia’s biggest businesses and commercial centres:
- Carrefour: open all weekend from 9am to 10pm, including Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
- Mercadona: closed on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
- Consum: closed on Sunday, Wednesday and Monday afternoon. Open on Monday morning from 9am to 2.30pm.
- Alcampo: open all weekend form 9am to 10pm, including Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
- Lidl: open all weekend form 9am to 10pm, including Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
- Dia: open only during the mornings (9.30am to 3pm) on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
- Commercial shopping centres Nueva Condomina, Thader, Espacio Mediterráneo, Parque Almenara, Dos Mares and Atalayas: open as usual all bank holiday, 10am to 10pm.
- El Corte Inglés: open all weekend form 10am to 10pm, including Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
- Ikea: open all weekend form 10am to 10pm, including Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
- MediaMarkt: open all weekend form 10am to 10pm, including Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
