September 13 MABS Picnic in the Park in Los Alcázares

The event features live music, entertainment and plenty of outdoor fun, with all funds helping support the MABS cancer charity

There’s still time to grab tickets for the annual MABS Picnic in the Park, with an afternoon of live music, food and outdoor fun planned at La Zona Terrazas in Los Alcázares on Sunday September 13.

The popular charity event is a chance to enjoy a relaxed afternoon with family and friends while also helping to raise money for MABS, the local cancer support charity.

Gates open at 2pm, with the entertainment getting underway from 3pm. This year’s line-up includes Jesus Hernandez, Aaron Lanney, Carla Stone and Sean Holsgrove, with Francis Symons taking on compere duties throughout the afternoon.

Tickets cost just €10 and are available from the MABS Charity Shop in San Javier or directly from La Zona Bar.

Guests are welcome to bring along their own picnic and settle in for the afternoon, although drinks can’t be brought into the event. Instead, visitors are asked to buy their drinks from the bar.

If you’d rather leave the picnic at home, La Zona Kitchen will also be open, giving visitors the option of buying something to eat while they enjoy the music and entertainment.

With plenty of live entertainment and a relaxed outdoor setting, it’s a chance to enjoy a Sunday afternoon in Los Alcázares while supporting the work of MABS and helping raise funds for cancer support services.
