Murcia basks in 19-degree weather: Weather forecast January 12-15
Temperatures will rise until Friday, when the return of the rains will bring a cold snap
It’s a cracker of a weather forecast for the Region of Murcia from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) this week, with predictions of temperatures as high as 19ºC/66ºF and sunny skies for the next few days.
However, beyond that, the weekend ahead is currently looking to bring a return of the rain and chillier temperatures, so enjoy the good weather while it lasts!
Monday January 12
Murcia weather forecast, Monday January 12This Monday is forecast to be a very settled day in the Region of Murcia, with bright sunshine for most of the day and mild temperatures reaching up to 16-17ºC in the early afternoon, and remaining above freezing at night.
Tuesday January 13
Murcia weather forecast, Tuesday January 13It will be a little cloudier on Tuesday 13, with fog across the centre of the Region early in the morning and high cloud cover persistent throughout the day, though it will still remain dry and pleasant with a light breeze.
Wednesday January 14
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Murcia, Wednesday January 14On Wednesday 14, there will be a little rise in daytime temperatures, which are forecast to get as high as 19ºC in places like Alhama, Totana and central Murcia, and between 16º and 18ºC everywhere else, accompanied by a little bit more cloud cover than the day before. Not bad for a mid-January day.
Thursday January 15
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday January 15Thursday, too, will be nice and warm, keeping up the same level of temperatures, and with the added bonus that the clouds will part and make way for a glorious sunshine to come streaming down.
That is the end of the spell of good weather, though, I’m afraid. Aemet forecasts rain for the weekend, with temperatures dropping suddenly down to maximums of 10-15ºC by Saturday. Not freezing, by any means, by just a reminder that we’re still in January and we shouldn’t get too used to the spring-like warmth just yet.
