A travelling zoo of charming recycled garbage creatures visits the Auditorio Infanta Elena in Águilas

Chatungla is the name given to this unusual collection of animals, each with a different story to tell but all with one thing in common: they are made from re-used and recycled materials.

This is a children’s show featuring puppets, and among the stars are the naughty dog Perrete (made from an old stool), the dancer Jirafalera (a ladder giraffe) and lazy old Muebleón (a lion made from an old piece of furniture)…

The performance on May 8 begins at 18.00 with tickets priced at 5 euros and available from the Casa de la Cultura, the Museo Arqueológico of Águilas and online here. Spare tickets will be on sale two hours before the curtain rises at the Auditorium box office.
