Classical opera and spectacular staging at the Auditorio Infanta Elena in Águilas

 Nabucco is considered by most to be Giuseppe Verdi’s first great opera, and he himself wrote that “this is the opera with which my artistic career really begins”. The plot concerns the plight of the Jews as they are conquered and exiled from their homeland by the Babylonian king Nabucco, or Nebuchadnezzar, and without doubt the best-known number in the opera is the Chorus of the Hebrew Slaves.
