June 3 Wine bus tour from Alicante to the north-west Murcia town of Bullas

Enjoy a guided tour, see the vineyards, taste the wines and relax over lunch on this day trip to Bullas

Wine tourism is one of the most popular and economically profitable activities in the north of the Region of Murcia, where growing grapes, making wine and giving wine tasting sessions in bodegas is one of the pillars of the local economy.

In the light of this the regional tourist board organizes a series of “wine bus” tours, making it possible for people to enjoy a day out in one of the three Denomination of Origin areas without the hassle of driving and nominating a designated driver.

One of these coach trips sets out at on June 3 from the bus stop in Plaza del Mar, next to the Hotel Meliá, and then takes participants to the winery of Bodega Tercia de Ulea. From there, participantss travel to the town centre and the Escuela del Vino of Cehegín before lunch is taken at the Restaurante El Sol.
