This walk takes place in the spectacular countryside of the regional park of Cabo Cope and Puntas del Calnegre, allowing participants to enjoy the natural scenery on offer, as well as walking through past nesting areas for different bird species, Roman remains and even a natural warm water spring.
Comfortable clothing and footwear, a hat, water and sun cream are essential at this time of year!
The 4.7-kilometre walk begins at 9.30 at the Restaurante El Pozico in La Marina de Cope, at kilometre 11 on the RM-D14 road, and usually lasts approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.
Bookings should be made through the regional tourist board here.
The visit is free, although the town would appreciate visitors enjoying a good lunch out in the town afterwards or staying in the town – the tourist office will be happy to provide you with details of where a good lunch can be obtained and accommodation details!
