July 11 DogTraining Costa Blanca launches new Q&A workshop for dog owners
DogTraining Costa Blanca is hosting an informal two-hour session in Guardamar where owners can get advice, reassurance and guidance from qualified trainers

Dog owners often find themselves worrying about the same things.
Why does my dog bark at visitors? Why won't they settle when left alone? Am I handling this situation correctly? Is this normal behaviour?
According to DogTraining Costa Blanca, many owners don't necessarily need a full training programme or one-to-one sessions. Sometimes they simply need the opportunity to ask questions, get expert advice and gain confidence that they're doing the right thing.
That's the idea behind a new series of informal workshops taking place this July and August, beginning with a Questions and Answers Workshop on Saturday July 11 from 11am to 1pm at Westvilles in Guardamar del Segura.
The session is aimed at dog owners who would like a better understanding of their dog's behaviour, practical advice on common issues or reassurance about challenges they may be facing at home.
Rather than a hands-on training class, the workshop focuses on discussion, support and learning in a relaxed environment where no question is considered too small.
DogTraining Costa Blanca founder Angela Holt says she regularly receives messages from concerned owners looking for guidance.
"I must get at least three messages a day from dog parents who simply need an answer to a question," she explained.
"They don't necessarily need to see me in person. Often they just need someone to reassure them that they're doing the right thing for their dog."
She added, "Sometimes a quick conversation and a bit of guidance is all that's needed. That's exactly why I'm offering these workshops at a reasonable price."
The workshop will take place indoors at Westvilles in Guardamar, providing a comfortable and cool setting away from the summer heat.
Owners are asked not to bring their dogs, as the session is designed specifically for people rather than pets.
During the two-hour event, participants will have the opportunity to ask qualified trainers questions about topics such as behaviour, communication, everyday challenges and ways to help their dogs feel happier and more secure.
The workshop costs just €10 and is open to anyone who would like to learn more about their dog in a friendly and supportive setting.
