Nestled in Cartagena’s Rafael de la Cerda Leisure Park in Tentegorra, this sprawling maze is made up of hundreds of Leyland cypress trees grown to around two metres tall, creating a green labyrinth that's as beautiful as it is challenging.

 

Owned by the Taibilla Canals Association, the maze is more than just a place to get lost. Your goal is to find the central viewpoint, a tower from which you can admire the maze’s twisting pattern and the surrounding landscape. It can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to make it to the centre and back, depending on your route and how much you stop to take in the sights.
