Concerts, castles and a mystery trip: What's on with Taquilla Tickets this summer

Rod Stewart, Rick Astley, Cirque du Soleil and a top secret mystery tour are all on the cards for June and July

Taquilla Tickets has put together another fantastic line-up of trips and excursions for the coming weeks, with something to suit pretty much every taste, from gentle days out exploring the Murcian countryside to big nights out at major concerts.

Here's everything on offer.

June trips

Buses to Camposol and Puerto de Mazarrón

For those who fancy a simple day or evening out, regular bus services continue to run on modern, air conditioned coaches with full responsible tourism certification. The Friday day service runs from 10am to 5pm, while the Saturday evening service runs from 6pm to 11.30pm.

Pick up points are Condado, Camposol A and Camposol B, but please note times are subject to change depending on the number of pick ups and drop offs needed.

Return prices are just €15 for adults and €12.50 for children aged 3 to 12, with under 3s travelling free.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and presented as proof of booking when boarding.

Terra Natura and waterpark bus

This popular service runs every Wednesday and Sunday, subject to availability. The bus drops off at the waterpark car park and for anyone wanting to head into Murcia city, there's a tram stop just outside the car park to the right that runs to the city centre at Plaza Circular.

Discounted waterpark tickets are handed out on board, so hold onto these to show at the kiosk when entering the park.

Pick up points and times are MCC at 9.30am, Camposol B at 9.40am, Camposol A at 9.45am and Condado at 10am, with the coach departing the waterpark at 5pm.

Return coach prices are €18 for adults and €15 for seniors over 60 and children aged 3 to 12, with under 3s travelling free. Discounted waterpark entry prices are €21 for adults, €16 for children aged 3 to 12 and €16 for seniors over 60.

Mystery coach tour, Thursday June 25

Following two hugely popular outings in 2024 and 2025, the Mystery Tour returns once again. As the name suggests, the destination remains a closely guarded secret, but the trip includes a fabulous mystery experience, a three course lunch with one drink included (house wine, beer or soft drink, with additional drinks charged extra) and return coach travel. Suitable for all ages and mobility levels.

Prices are €72.50 for adults and €70 for T&G members.

River rafting tour and caves, Calasparra, Tuesday June 23

A wonderful day out exploring some of the Region of Murcia's most stunning natural scenery. The trip sets off from the base in Calasparra for gentle rafting through the Almadenes Canyon, a Protected Natural Area suitable for everyone, with canyon walls reaching 100 metres and home to more than 150 recognised species of flora and fauna only visible from the river.

The rafting takes around three to three and a half hours and finishes at the La Mulata Dam.

The day also includes a visit to two caves that form part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including the Cueva de los Monigotes with its rock art dating back 20,000 years, plus a rock art workshop. The coach then takes everyone to Calasparra for free time to grab some lunch before heading home.

Prices are €70 for adults and €67.50 for T&G members.

Rod Stewart in concert, Valencia, Tuesday June 30 and Wednesday July 1

Sir Rod Stewart, with his unmistakable voice and a career spanning more than 50 years, ten number one albums and 31 top ten singles including Sailing, Maggie May, I Don't Wanna Talk About It and Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, comes to Valencia!

The package includes return coach travel with drop off and pick up outside the venue, a one night stay in a central 3-star hotel with breakfast, and a seated entrance ticket. The hotel is to be confirmed.

This concert is expected to sell out quickly, so it's worth getting in touch as soon as possible.

There's also the option to visit Valencia for a one night stay without the concert (see below).

Valencia city break, Tuesday June 30 to Wednesday July 1

For anyone who loves exploring Spain's cities, Taquilla Tickets is also offering a dedicated Valencia city break alongside its Rod Stewart concert trip. July trips

Rick Astley in concert, Murcia, Saturday July 11

Rick Astley shot to fame in 1987 at just 21 years old with Never Gonna Give You Up, a single from his album Whenever You Need Somebody. Written and produced by Stock, Aitken and Waterman, the song topped the charts in 25 countries and paved the way for further hits including Together Forever. The album went on to sell more than 15 million copies worldwide, and the music video became an MTV-era classic.

Come along for an evening of fabulous songs to dance and sing along to.

The package includes return coach travel and an official concert ticket.

Cirque du Soleil: KURIOS, The Big Top, San Juan, Alicante, Friday July 17

Cirque du Soleil's 2026 Alicante show is KURIOS, Cabinet of Curiosities, telling the story of a 19th century inventor who builds a machine to travel to strange dimensions and reinvent the world through his imagination. The plot follows this character as he invites a group of eccentric characters into his cabinet of curiosities, transforming his world into a place of wonder and poetry, exploring the power of imagination, curiosity and the discovery of the extraordinary. A show not to be missed.

The package includes return coach travel and a numbered seated ticket.
