Brit expat arrested in Port of Mazarron playground for flashing to a child
The man was also charged with “sexual provocation”, and has a track record of similar crimes back in Britain
A British man has been arrested in Puerto de Mazarrón for what the Guardia Civil described as “acts of a sexual nature committed against a minor”.
Specifically, he has been placed under arrest “for the crime of exhibitionism and sexual provocation”.
It was locals living in the area who alerted the police to the alleged sexual predator’s actions, and they even took photos and videos of him in the act, flashing his private parts to a young child and trying to solicit sexual activity.
He was identified as a British man living in the area, who had close ties to at least three properties in the Port of Mazarrón.
It turned out that he had a record of similar offences back in the UK.
When police caught up to him, he was sitting on a park bench “in a busy children’s park in Puerto de Mazarrón… in a suspicious attitude”.
They promptly slapped the cuffs on him there and then, and he will now face justice for his purported crimes.
Three months ago, a Belgian man who lived in Camposol was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for possessing and distributing paedophile material.
