August 10 Paco Soto at the Aguilas Jazz festival

The flamenco guitarist leads his group in the Plaza Antonio Cortijos in Águilas

Following the huge success of the first two editions of the newly created Águilas Jazz Festival the third edition this year features three concerts on August 10, 11 and 12.

The first of these begins at 22.00 on Thursday August 10 in the Plaza Antonio Cortijos and features “La Mesa Redonda” with flamenco guitarist Paco Soto. Paco Soto, born in Águilas but raised in Tangiers, released his first disc in 2017 and his 2019 work “Dos Mares” was nominated for an award at the MIN prizes.

Paco is still growing musically and has played at various venues in New Work, China, Japan, Russia and Hungary as well as at the Montreal Jazz Festival and numerous theatres in Spain.

Tickets are priced at 15 euros and are already available at the Museo Arqueológico, the Casa de la Cultura, Restaurante Sol y Mar and online at Bacantix here. Season tickets are also available at 40 euros for all three concerts in the festival.
