After a notably varied start to November, Andalucía is set for another mixed week of weather, balancing spells of sunshine with cloudier intervals and some much-needed rain in western areas. Conditions will feel a touch cooler in places to start, before temperatures lift again midweek, especially for those along the coast.

 

 

Partly cloudy skies will be the theme across Andalucía, with intervals of thin, high cloud that let the sunshine through in most areas. The Guadalquivir Valley towns like Jaén are in for a slight dip in temperatures, while elsewhere, such as Málaga, expect things to stay mild or even lift a little. Winds remain light and shifting for much of the day, turning westerly later on for coastal areas, especially along the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, where Tarifa could see a bit of an afternoon breeze.

 

 

High clouds will drift in and out but sunshine still holds on, particularly along the Atlantic side. Temperatures remain steady for much of the region, with a noticeable rise in maximums around 23°C near Huelva and the low 20s in Cádiz. Winds will start from the east or southeast, picking up as the day goes on. Those along the coast should be ready for blustery, strong easterlies developing through the afternoon.

 

 

Cloudy spells settle in over the far west, especially around Seville, where a few light showers might break through here and there. In places like Granada and Córdoba, skies are brighter but partly cloudy, and it’ll feel significantly warmer and maximums jump to around 28°C. Winds gradually strengthen through the afternoon: easterly for the coast and Strait areas, southerly elsewhere, with some gusty stretches likely.

 

 

Cloud builds steadily, shifting to overcast conditions for many districts. The heaviest rain is expected further west, with Cádiz likely to see showers that could turn thundery or turn into persistent downpours. In contrast, further east may stay mostly dry. Early temperatures will be up a notch, and afternoon highs on the Mediterranean, especially Almería, could reach an unseasonably warm 30°C. Winds will be a key feature, moderate to strong from the east along the coast and south elsewhere, with occasional gusts making things lively, particularly in the far west.

 

 

Changeable skies, rising temperatures and gusty winds mean it’s a good week for those who like a bit of variety in their autumn forecast. Be prepared for showers in the west, but much of Andalucía can look forward to plenty of bright and pleasantly warm moments.
