The more settled start to the week is now firmly behind us. Thursday still brings some brighter spells, but the Mediterranean coast remains unsettled and strong easterly winds will be a feature around Cádiz. Rain becomes more widespread and potentially heavy from Friday onwards, while temperatures take a noticeable tumble by Sunday.

 

 

Partly cloudy skies are expected across much of Andalucía, with plenty of mid and high cloud. Lower cloud near Málaga and Almería may bring a few light showers, locally moderate in places, while most inland areas stay dry. Temperatures will change little, or dip slightly. Easterly winds will be strong along the Cádiz coast, where a coastal weather warning is in force, and gusts may occasionally become very strong around Tarifa and the Strait.

 

 

Cloud thickens through the day, with showers becoming more likely along the Mediterranean coast. The southeastern third faces the greatest risk of locally heavy downpours and thunderstorms, and Granada is under weather warnings for rain and storms. Temperatures rise a little in eastern areas, but remain steady or fall elsewhere. Winds are mostly light and variable, so any heavy showers may be slow-moving.

 

 

A rather warmer but increasingly wet day in places. Skies start partly cloudy, then turn overcast during the afternoon as showers and thunderstorms develop more widely. Some could be heavy. Seville may still reach 32°C and Huelva around 30°C, while most other areas sit in the mid to high twenties. Córdoba and Jaén should see a mixture of cloud, sunshine and a growing risk of rain later in the day.

 

 

Sunday looks cloudy and unsettled, with showers and thunderstorms likely in many areas. The heaviest and most persistent rain is expected in the eastern third, particularly near Almería, while western areas may see more breaks between showers. Temperatures fall generally, with daytime highs ranging from around 21°C in cooler northern upland areas to a maximum of roughly 28°C elsewhere.

 

 

It is a definite change in feel for Andalucía, with the warm October weather replaced by wetter, more changeable and noticeably cooler conditions.
