Andalucía weekend weather forecast May 15–18: Sunshine dominates, with a few showers in the east
Mostly settled weather across Andalucía with some afternoon showers possible in the eastern mountains
After a changeable start to the week, Andalucía looks set for a mainly fine weekend. Clear skies and rising temperatures are on the cards for most areas, though the eastern sierras might still see the odd stormy shower in the afternoons. Andalucía weather forecast, Thursday May 15It will be a sunny day for most, although parts of Granada, Jaén and Almería may see some stormy showers developing later, possibly with small hail. The rest of the region, including Seville and Huelva, can expect dry weather with a mix of sunshine and some afternoon cloud. Temperatures will hold steady, and winds will be light to moderate from the west, occasionally picking up near the coast.

Andalucía weather forecast, Friday May 16Skies will stay mostly clear in places like Córdoba, Cádiz and Tarifa. Some high cloud may drift into the west by late afternoon, while the eastern sierras could see a few scattered showers again. Minimum temperatures will remain unchanged in the east but will rise elsewhere, with daytime highs climbing across much of the region. Winds will be light and variable.

Cloud will also build over the eastern mountains in Granada and Almería, but showers are unlikely. Temperatures will rise slightly, and winds will remain light, turning easterly along the Mediterranean coast and in the Strait of Gibraltar.

Mid- and high-level clouds may build up in the afternoon, particularly in Jaén and Almería, where there’s a small chance of a localised shower. Elsewhere, including Málaga, Seville and Cádiz, it will stay dry and sunny. Temperatures will stay warm, and winds will be mostly light with a light easterly breeze along the coast in the morning.
In short, the weekend will bring a stretch of fine early summer weather for most of Andalucía. While the east may still be in for the odd shower, particularly in the sierras, most places can expect dry, warm and sunny conditions – perfect if you have outdoor plans.
