Click HereThis summer the tourist train in Águilas is offering tours around the town centre and the castle every evening from 20.00 to 1.00 in the morning, providing a nice way to cool down in the evening and enjoy the sea breeze along the Mediterranean coast.
The train departs from the port area and there is a signpost indicating the departure point. There is plenty of parking in the port which is free of charge, so this is always a good area to head for if driving into Águilas.
Saturday morning market service
During July and August 2018 the tourist train of Águilas is offering a special weekly market service, taking passengers to and from the Saturday market in Calle Murcia, in the northern outskirts of the town, and providing an unusual way of travelling from the town centre and the port to the fruit and veg stalls and other traders offering their wares.
The train is in operation from 10.00 to 14.00, leaving from the fishing port and stopping at the junction of Avenida Juan Carlos I with Calle Luis Prieto on its way to the market, with tickets costing 1.50 euros.
