ARCHIVED - Águilas shops prepare to celebrate Black Friday

A festive atmosphere in the Águilas Centro mall and the town centre on 29^th November

It will have escaped few people’s attention that Friday 29^th November is “Black Friday”, and shops in Águilas are embracing the pre-Christmas sales opportunity under the slogan “¡Yo sí participo!”.

The main event in the Fiesta Black Friday Águilas initiative takes place from 16.00 onwards in the Águilas Centro shopping area in the town centre, where Mayoress Mari Carmen Moreno explains that the retail outlets taking part – more than 100 of them in total – are decorating their stores for the occasion, bringing their products outside onto the streets and contributing to a festive atmosphere with live music, children’s entertainment and prize draws.

As the event grows year by year, this year Calle Conde de Aranda and Calle Rey Carlos III are to be closed to road traffic so that youngsters can enjoy the festivities of the evening safely.
