Click HereLocal Police in Águilas have issued 8 denuncias against individuals breaching the permineter confinement order which came into force on January 12th in the municipality which is currently in Phase 2 Extreme Risk.
The police reminded the public that sanctions for breaching the perimeter border are: - A fine of 100 to 3,000 euros in case of minor offenses. - A fine of 3,001 to 60,000 euros for serious offenses. - A fine of 60,001 to 600,000 euros for very serious infringements. The penalty for not wearing a mask or inappropriate use of a mask is 100 euros.
On Monday the regional government further tightened coronavirus restrictions, limiting the number of people allowed to meet to just 2.
