Click HereThe last few days of November are being accompanied by a spell of glorious weather in the Region of Murcia and on Wednesday 27th the afternoon maximums of 25.3 degrees in Águilas and 25.2 in Mazarrón were the highest in mainland Spain, according to the State meteorological agency Aemet.
Only in Vallehermoso in Santa Cruz de Tenerife was the maximum in Águilas exceeded (with a figure of 26.3), while elsewhere in Murcia Torre Pacheco also ranked in the national top ten with a high of 24.
The expectation for Thursday and Friday is for a slight drop in the maximums, with Aemet forecasting 17 in Yecla, 19 in Cartagena, 20 in Caravaca de la Cruz, 21 in Lorca and 22 in the city of Murcia on Thursday afternoon and possibly a degree or two higher on Friday. However, by the start of next week a cold front will make its way across Spain and by Tuesday the figure could be down to around 13 degrees in the regional capital and 14 or 15 on the coast.
