ARCHIVED - 86 local businesses within the Los Alcázares safe tourism destination campaign
“Los Alcázares, Destino Turístico Seguro”
There’s no doubt that businesses working within the tourism sector are having a hard time this year, fear of getting caught up in a Covid lockdown and fear of catching the virus encouraging many families who would traditionally fill the coastal bars and businesses of the region to stay away this summer.
All across Spain the tourist sector is struggling to convince potential tourists that Spain is a safe detination and the measures being undertaken by businesses to keep tourists safe will be sufficient for those willing to take sensible precautions for themselves, who want to enjoy a holiday here.
Los Alcázares is amongst the coastal councils supporting a campaign to show visitors that its shops are safe and has created the campaign “Los Alcázares, Destino Turístico Seguro” ( Los Alcázares, safe tourism destination) which now includes 86 shops and businesses, all fully fitted and supplied with protective screening, protective and hygiene measures guaranteed to make shopping and using necessary services as safe an experience as possible for both business owners and members of the public.
