ARCHIVED - 23rd February Free guided tour to unlock the Irish secret of Lorca
A free guided Spanish language tour of central Lorca
Visita teatralizada el secreto del irlandés
This is a new free tour offered by the Tourist Office in Lorca for 2020 and examines why the Irish played an important ròle in the history of Lorca.
The tour visits the principal monuments in the city centre, focusing on the area around the San Patricio former Colegiate building and is lead by actors.
The tour lasts for 45 minutes and is in Spanish.
The visit starts at the Tourist Information Office in the Plaza de España and must be booked a minimum of 24 hours in advance. For most of the year it starts at 11:30, but during July and August switches to 20:30 in the evening due to the high summer temperatures.
A minimum of 5 people is required for the tour to go ahead, and in the event that less than 5 people book for the tour, this tour will be substituted by a free guided tour of the principal monuments of the city centre.
Booking is essential as places are limited, so contact the Tourist Office if you'd like to go or book directly USING THE ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM
